What can you expect at an RGC class?

RGC is a space for you to sweat out your worries and join a community that celebrates fun and fitness. You’ll have the freedom to join in however you like. So while our classes are suited to all abilities and fitness levels, you have license to choose your own adventure (whether you want to sit a routine out, adapt a position that feels more comfortable to you or just dance on the spot) - it’s totally up to you.

We’ll be taking you through a mixture of routines ranging from cardio to butt/abs/thighs to learning basic dance numbers. Each class is one hour and includes the following:

  • Casual warm up

  • Active warm up

  • Aerobic (to get the blood pumping)

  • Squats and thigh workout

  • Another aerobic (get to the heart rate going)

  • Dance number

  • Another aerobic (we really like our aerobic numbers)

  • Sit ups and push ups

  • Cool down

As this is a workout, you will get a sweat on so please come prepared with the following:

  • Drink bottle

  • Supportive footwear and bra (we do a lot of jumping)

  • You’re welcome to bring your own mats for the floor exercises but we do have mats available

  • 80s workout gear - there is no pressure to dress up but it is encouraged!

If you witness any behavior that goes against this principle, please report it to the instructor immediately.

3. Have Fun, But Be Respectful: We're here to have a great time, and we encourage laughter, enthusiasm, and a positive atmosphere. However, it's crucial to be mindful of others' boundaries and ensure that our fun doesn't come at the expense of someone else's comfort.

Remember, our goal is to create a relaxed and enjoyable environment for everyone. Let's work together to make each class a fantastic experience for all!

I’m not a dancer by any means but I’ve always loved moving to music and RGC makes me feel like a dancing queen! Bridget and Hannah are so enthusiastic and the class atmosphere is incredible. RGC is by far the most fun I’ve ever had in a fitness class!
