Hens dos and Team Events

Keen to create a team event that’ll be remembered? Jazz up a birthday bash? Or give the bride-to-be a party that’ll make them say “I’ve had the time of my life”?! Well, RGC has you covered better than an 80s lace veil. We’ll give you a two hour retro experience complete with dance routines, themed games and even lend you some 80s accessories to complete your look.

What’s the structure of the class:

  • We’re happy to tailor an experience to your wants/needs but a typical hens do class starts with a warm up and two sets of dances.

  • We break to then play Pin The Kisses on Rob Lowe (which is an 80s spin on the classic Pin the Tail on the Donkey) and yes, it’s an authentic centrefold promoting his Youngblood days.

  • We then get back into the dances (two-three more songs) and break for another game: a classic Pop Quiz on 80s Pop Culture. We’re happy to add some personal questions about the wedding couple too!

  • The class ends with two-three more dances and we have a photoshoot sessions with our sparkle prom-inspired photo wall that we bring on the day.

What else is included?

  • Retro themed prizes for the games

  • Accessories for the hens to borrow (sweat bands, leg warmers, and belts)

  • The bride will borrow an 80s inspired sweat band veil and white leg warmers and wrist bands

  • Sparkly photo wall to take the perfect group photo

  • You can either come to the studio or we can come to you and we’ll bring our own music system

It doesn’t have to be 80s!

While we love the classic 80s Aerobic Class, we do other themes too, including:

  • Disco 70s for your sequin queen (think Dianna Ross, lots of ABBA, and routines to get you Night Fever ready)!

  • Retro Rodeo (80s and 90s country bangers, line dancing, lots of Dolly and Shania)

  • Y2K 2000s (YOU2KISSING) - let’s get nostalgic with classics from the noughties (think Aqua, Spice Girls, Hanson)

  • Dazed and Engaged - bringing you the swinging 60s, all things flower power, channeling Nancy Sinatra because your boots are made for walking (down that isle)!
